Boulder, CO : Three people were injured after a driver crashed into two stopped vehicles at Intersection of Foothills Parkway and Arapahoe Avenue On Saturday May 7th, 2016

Two people remain in critical condition today after a driver crashed into two stopped vehicles at the intersection of Foothills Parkway and Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder late Saturday night.

According to Boulder police, a green 2002 Volkswagen Jetta traveling westbound on Arapahoe struck two vehicles, a red 2010 Honda Fit and a white 2008 Dodge Ram, that were stopped on westbound Arapahoe at Foothills at 11:52 p.m.

Saturday.

The driver of the Jetta was treated for minor injuries at Boulder Community Health and released.

The driver and a passenger in the Fit also were taken to Boulder Community Health, where they remain in critical condition.

The driver and two passengers in the Ram were not injured.

Police said they continue to investigate the crash, including trying to determine whether impairment played a role.
