Neola, IA : One teen killed and three injured in single-vehicle crash on Railroad Highway near Noela on Monday, March 21, 2016

A truck carrying four high school students crashed near Neola, killing one of them.

The crash was reported around 6 p.m. Monday.

The teenagers had just left track practice at Tri-Center High School when the single-vehicle crash happened, said Pottawattamie County Sheriff Jeff Danker.

The truck rolled off the highway, Danker said.

Two of the surviving teenagers suffered serious injuries.

Superintendent Tony Weers said that crisis response and grief counselors are at the crash site currently, and will be available to all students and staff Tuesday.
