Billings, MT : 75-year-old Bridger woman killed and her passenger was injured in SUV pickup truck crash on Thursday November 5 2015

A 75-year-old Bridger woman was killed and her passenger was injured when the sport utility vehicle she was driving rear-ended a pickup truck that had slowed down to turn off U.S. Highway 310 near Edgar.
Carbon County Sheriff Josh McQuillan says Gloria Thiel died at the scene of the crash Thursday evening.
The Billings Gazette the 46-year-old Edgar man who was driving the pickup had minor injuries. The victim's 82-year-old passenger, a woman from Fromberg, was flown to a Billings hospital for treatment.
Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Todd Hagenbuch says the SUV was traveling at or close to highway speeds when the crash happened.
Investigators do not believe alcohol played a role.
