Platte Couty, MO : Senior tractor-trailer driver hits highway overpass, dies in crash on I-29 on Thursday, 18th January 2024

An early morning crash on I-29 killed the driver of a tractor-trailer in Platte County, Mo.

The crash happened just after midnight on southbound I-29 at the exit for Z Highway. Wallace was driving a 2021 Freightliner tractor-trailer when he left the roadway, hitting the Z Highway overpass.

The Platte County Sheriff’s Office reported that he died at the scene of the crash.
