Fairhaven, MA : Two people severely injured after hit-and-run crash in Bristol County on Saturday morning, February 6, 2016

Two people have been severely injured after being struck by a car in Fairhaven Saturday morning.

The two victims were walking on Sycamore street at about 2 a.m. when they were struck from behind by a vehicle which fled the area.

Both victims were unconscious when they were found by a snow plow driver. They were transported to St. Luke’s Hospital.

The female victim was subsequently airlifted to Boston Medical Center for further treatment. The male victim has since regained consciousness.
