Arnold, MD : Two people injured in a three-vehicle crash in Arnold on Sunday, February 8, 2015
Two people were hospitalized following a three-vehicle crash Sunday in Arnold.
The crash occurred at 10:15 a.m. in the area of Route 2 and Arnold Road.
When units arrived they discovered one of the vehicles had overturned and a woman was trapped inside, said county fire department Capt. Michael Pfaltzgraff.
It took firefighters 10 minutes to extricate the 35-year-old woman from the vehicle. She was transported by ambulance to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious but not life-threatening injuries, Pfaltzgraff said.
Another person was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis with minor injuries. The age and gender of that person were not available.
The wreck occurred approximately 12 hours after a pedestrian was struck by a car in Pasadena.
Pfaltzgraff said at 10:15 p.m. Saturday a 33-year-old man was struck in the area of Fort Smallwood and Werner Roads. He was transported by ambulance to Shock Trauma with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
