GROVER, WI : 12-year-old girl dies in Wisconsin go-kart crash on Saturday 27th October 2018

A 12-year-old girl has died in a go-kart accident, authorities in northeastern Wisconsin said.

Madison Pluger of Spencer was visiting her grandmother and family when she reportedly drove the vehicle into a parked pickup just before 3 p.m. Saturday.Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve said the crash occurred on private property in the Town of Grover.

Pluger died at an Oconto hospital several hours later from complications of internal injuries, authorities said.
