HOMAN, AR : Miller County investigating non-fatal collision at 10 miles out of the Texarkana city limits near U.S. Highway 67 North and Miller County Road 64 on Wednesday, 25th March, 2020

Miller County Sheriff's deputies are still investigating circumstances surrounding the Wednesday late evening non-fatal collision between an Amtrak passenger train and an 18-wheeler.
Miller County Chief Deputy Mark Lewis said the crash caused no injures.
It occurred about 9:55 p.m. Wednesday about 10 miles out of the Texarkana city limits near U.S. Highway 67 North and Miller County Road 64.
Lewis said the wreck occurred at a protected railroad crossing where the crossing arms sustained damaged.
"There was every indication that the crossing arms were functioning perfectly," Lewis said.
