Fort Dodge, IA : 2 injured when sleepy driver crashes into van on Friday, 29th June 2018

One adult and one child were injured after a man fell asleep at the wheel and crashed his car into a van along Quail Avenue Friday afternoon, according to Sgt. Jason Heesch, of the Webster County Sheriff’s Department.

The driver of a car was traveling northbound when he fell asleep and crossed the center line, Heesch said.

According to Heesch, the car sideswiped a van which was traveling southbound near Calcium Products, 2063 Quail Ave.

Both vehicles ended up in the west ditch.
