Jonesboro, AR : One person killed and another injured in a crash in Lawrence County on Thursday, July 7, 2016

One person was killed and another person was injured in a crash in Lawrence County.

According to Peggy Miles with Lawrence County 911, the crash happened on Lawrence County Road 511 near Minturn.

Hoxie Fire Chief Chris Ditto said the truck ran off the road and over-corrected.

Two people were ejected from the vehicle.

One person is dead when emergency officials arrived on scene.

Another person was airlifted to a hospital with major injuries.
