Phoenix, AZ : 6-year-old girl died in a car collision with another vehicle on Friday August 8th 2014

Phoenix Police have released the name of the 6 year-old who died in the West Valley in a crash near 75th Ave. & Osborn. The girl has been identified as 6-year-old Amy Vega. Police say one of the vehicles was traveling southbound with the six-year-old and her father in the car, when there was a collision with another vehicle. Investigators believe the father may have lost control of the vehicle, leading to the accident. The six year-old was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
