Nashville, TN : Driver crashes into building in north Nashville on Wednesday, April 20, 2016

A driver suffered minor injuries after crashing into a building in north Nashville.

The abandoned building is located on the corner of 28th Avenue North and Albion Street near the Tennessee State University campus.

Officials on scene said they believe the woman slammed into the building after exiting I-40. They said she drove through the intersection and jumped an embankment.

The driver told officers she fell asleep at the wheel.

Police are still working to figure out what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
