Cookeville, TN : A single-vehicle crash on May, Wednesday 10th 2017

A single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning injured an 18-year-old woman who was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Putnam Emergency Medical Services and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident that was reported by multiple passersby shortly after 6 a.m. at the intersection of Kuykendall and Dave Huddleston roads north of Cookeville.

The woman, whose name was not released, was reportedly pinned in the vehicle after it left the roadway and crashed into a tree. The number and names of others in the vehicle, as well as details about how the accident occurred, have not yet been released.
