LA VERGNE, TN : Deadly rollover crash closes interstate near La Vergne on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024

The westbound lanes of Interstate 24 near the Davidson and Rutherford County lines are now open after a deadly crash involving several vehicles Tuesday morning.

The Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed one a man died in the crash. Multiple fire and emergency units responded to mile marker 62 on I-24 West just before 7:30 a.m. after two vehicles crashed, one of them a pickup truck, which came to rest on its side against the interstate center wall.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation reported the crash resulted in at least one fatality around 8 a.m. and MNPD confirmed a man died in the crash at 10:20 a.m.
