BUCHANAN COUNTY, IA : Bicyclist airlifted after Buchanan County crash on Tuesday, 5th March 2024

A bicyclist was airlifted on Tuesday afternoon after being involved in a crash with a vehicle in Buchanan County.

The Buchanan County Sheriff's Office responded to the 1300 block of Fairbank-Amish Boulevard around 2:10 p.m.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle was traveling southbound before striking the bicyclist along the edge of the roadway. The bicyclist was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics with unspecified injuries.
