Salt Lake City, UT : 2 seriously injured near 300 North and 1000 West on Thursday, 22nd November 2018

Two people remain hospitalized after their car was rammed head-on by an SUV driven by a juvenile fleeing from police on Thursday evening.
According to the Salt Lake City Police Department, an officer tried to pull over a Ford Expedition near 300 North and 1000 West about 6:15 p.m., but the vehicle's 16-year-old driver drove off at a high rate of speed. The officer did not pursue, but the fleeing SUV crashed into a car at the intersection of 300 North and 900 West.
A man and a woman in the car were transported to a hospital in serious condition. The 16-year-old driver, who suffered minor injuries, was arrested. Police are still attempting to locate a second person, believed to have been in the SUV before fleeing on foot.
