SPRINGFIELD, TN : A 50 year old Kentucky man was killed on Friday, August 4, 2017

A 50 year old Kentucky man was killed late Friday in an ATV accident, according to officers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Police say Donald G. Gore of Franklin, Kentucky was killed, while a 25 year old passenger in the vehicle was not injured.

The accident happened around 11:00 p.m. as the pair drove along Pinson Road in Orlinda.

The initial report states Gore drove off the road, up an embankment and overturned on to the driver’s side.

Robertson County EMS along with the Orlinda Fire Department, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol all responded to the crash. MAP

Gore was pronounced dead at the scene.

THP officers on the scene say safety belts were not being used.
