Beloit ,WI : Hit-and-run suspect faces 6th OWI chargeon Sunday ,July 19th 2015
A 29-year-old Beloit man is facing his sixth drunken-driving charge after he was pulled over during a hit-and-run investigation, according to the Rock County Sheriff's Office.
The driver, identified by deputies as John C. Falk, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Sunday after authorities determined he was the driver in a hit-and-run crash involving property in the area of Townline Road and Highway 51, a news release stated.
The deputy who pulled Falk over smelled alcohol and gave Falk a field sobriety test, which he failed.
Falk was arrested on suspicion of felony drunken driving and a probation violation. He also was cited for hit-and-run to property and driving with a revoked license. He is expected to appear in court Monday afternoon.
