Walnut Creek,CA : At least four people injured, one critically, in Highway 4 crash in Pittsburg on November, Saturday 4th 2017

A major injury accident involving possibly as many as four vehicles forced a lane closing on eastbound Highway 4 early Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP received a call around 2:50 a.m. reporting that a vehicle possibly had overturned just west of San Marco Boulevard, with one occupant possibly ejected, an agency official said. The official could not confirm the report, which came from someone outside the agency, according to the official.

A Contra Costa County fire district official said four people were transported to hospitals. One of the injured was in critical condition, the official said.
