GREENWICH, CT : Driver dies after crashing into Greenwich building on Thursday, 6th February, 2020

A motorist died of his injuries after he crashed a car into a shop on the Post Road in Cos Cob on Thursday night, police said.
The accident occurred at 10:18 p.m. Thursday at the Post Road at Cross Lane, police said. A speeding car knocked over a tree and slammed into the side of Chocoylatte Gourmet, causing extensive damage to the car and the building.
The side of the building was breached by the car, and the inside of the store was littered with glass and bricks after the crash.
