Poinsett County , AR : Paragould woman killed after her car struck a tree in Poinsett County on Friday morning , May 22nd 2015

A Paragould woman was killed Friday morning after her car struck a tree in Poinsett County.

According to a crash report by Arkansas State Police, Amber Leeann Cooper, 30, was driving north on Highway 63 just south of Highway 135 at around 8 a.m.

Cooper then headed into the median and while she was trying to get back in her lane, she overcorrected, went into a ditch and struck a tree.

The coroner pronounced her dead at the scene.

ASP said no one else was injured or killed in the crash.
