Plainville, CT : Bristol woman died in crash on Route 72 in Plainville on Thursday, 28th November, 2019

A Bristol woman was fatally injured on Thursday when the car she was driving rear-ended an SUV that was stopped in traffic on Route 72 in Plainville.
Waleska Adalee Otero, 26, was driving east on Route 72 about 6:45 p.m. when the 2007 Nissan Sentra she was driving drove into the back of a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe that was stopped in traffic, state police said. Otero suffered serious injuries and died later at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, police said.
The driver of the Tahoe, Peter Roberge, 63, of Bristol, was injured and was taken to the UConn Medical Center in Farmington.
State police are investigating the crash and ask that any witnesses call Trooper Christopher Valente at the Hartford barracks at 860-534-1000, extension 1062.
