ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FL : 63-year-old woman dead after crash on I-95 in St. Johns County on Tuesday, 16th February 2021

A 63-year-old woman from McDonough, Georgia is dead after a crash on I-95SB at SR 16 Tuesday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP says that a 46-year-old man from Jacksonville was driving a tractor-trailer southbound on I-95, and the 63-year-old woman was also driving on I-95 southbound, in an SUV.

The driver of the tractor-trailer rear-ended the woman, causing her to travel into the center median where she hit the guardrail. She was ejected from the car, according to FHP.
