Traffic was backed up on southbound Interstate 75 in Harrison Twp

Traffic was backed up on southbound Interstate 75 in Harrison Twp. this morning following a crash.

A vehicle was rear-ended on the highway just before 8 a.m., and one person was taken to the hospital from the scene.

The road was re-opened around 8:30 a.m.

The two left lanes were closed just south of Needmore Road. Traffic was backed up to Interstate 70.
