Missoula, MT : 15-year-old Fairfield girl dies after rollover crash on Saturday August 27, 2016
A 15-year-old Fairfield girl has died of a serious brain injury suffered in a rollover crash west of Fairfield.
Teton County Deputy Sheriff and Coroner Mark Grove says Lauryn Goldhahn died late Saturday at a Seattle hospital. She was a passenger in a pickup truck that was involved in a rollover crash on a gravel road west of Fairfield on Thursday evening.
The Montana Highway Patrol says neither the girl who was driving nor Goldhahn were wearing seatbelts. Goldhahn was thrown from the pickup and also suffered a fractured pelvis and internal bleeding. Fairfield Public Schools posted a message from the family on Saturday saying she was not going to survive the brain injury, but they were donating her organs for transplant.
