DURHAM, MO : 8-year-old Missouri boy dies in ATV crash on Saturday, August 12, 2017

An 8-year-old Missouri boy died after the ATV he was driving rolled over onto him Saturday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Lewis County Sheriff's Office, Lewis County Fire and Rescue and Durham Fire and Rescue responded to the scene of the crash at 1 p.m. on Maple Street in Lewis County, four miles southwest of Durham.

Vallen Z. McVey of Macon, Mo., had been making a sharp left turn when the ATV overturned.

He was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., by ambulance and pronounced dead by doctors.
