Norfolk, VA : Woman dies in head-on crash in Chesapeake on Thursday night, September 15, 2016

A woman died in a head-on collision Thursday night.

Detective Dorienne Boykin said the crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. when police responded to the 3700 block of S. Battlefield Blvd. Boykin said a vehicle that was heading southbound struck another vehicle head-on that was traveling northbound.

Alcohol is a possible factor, Boykin said.

The crash is under investigation.
