TOLEDO, OH : 75-year-old woman killed in Friday crash on Friday, 26th February 2021

A woman involved in a two-car crash has died, according to Toledo Police.

The crash happened at about 5:30 PM Friday, Feb. 26, 2021 on Monroe St. at Woodmont.

Police say a 24-year-old woman was driving northwest on Monroe Street, when another vehicle driven by a 75-year-old woman pulled out of 4277 Monroe St. and was struck by the oncoming vehicle. Both went off the road, striking a pole and a tree.

According to police records, Jeanine Lump, 75 did not survive. The woman driving the other vehicle was injured and taken to a local hospital. The accident report does not indicate whether anyone was cited in the crash.
