Dade City, FL : 77-year-old woman killed in Pasco County collision on Wednesday afternoon, March 30, 2016

A 77-year-old New Port RIchey woman is dead after a collision this afternoon in Pasco County, the Florida Highway Patrol said. About 2:17 p.m., a 1995 Ford Taurus driven by the woman, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was stopped while waiting for traffic on Point Boulevard at State Road 52. Meanwhile, a 2006 Chrysler 300 driven by Christopher M. Rivenburg, 39, of Hudson, was eastbound on S.R. 52. The Ford moved into traffic to turn left and entered the Chrysler’s path. The Chrysler hit the Ford on the driver’s side. The Ford’s driver died at the scene. Rivenburg was taken to Bayonet Point Hospital with minor injuries.
