WOODLAWN, IL : Fatal crash reported on Richview Road on April, Saturday 8th 2017

A 29-year-old Woodlawn man died in a vehicle crash early Saturday.

Anthony Elgin was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle accident, which happened on Richview Road, one-fourth of a mile east of Woodlawn Road, said Chief Deputy Clint Taylor of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a rollover crash at around 7 a.m. Saturday.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
