Vicksburg, MS : 28-year-old Patrick Traylor died in a crash in Warren County on Sunday, March 26, 2017

The driver killed in a deadly crash in Warren County has been identified as 28-year-old Patrick Traylor of Vicksburg.

According to Corporal Eric Henry with Mississippi Highway Patrol, they responded to Mississippi 3 in Warren County near International Paper to a head on collision involving an 18 wheeler and a Chevrolet Cobalt.

Preliminary investigation shows that the 18 wheeler was traveling south on MS 3 and the Chevrolet was traveling northbound when it crossed over in the southbound lane and struck head on with the 18 wheeler.

After the crash, the Chevrolet burst into flames. Traylor, the driver of the Chevrolet was killed on the scene.

The driver of the 18 wheeler was not injured.

The 18 wheeler belonged to John Gilfoil out of Tallulah, Louisiana.

The accident is under investigation. We will update this as more information becomes available.
