Somerset, PA : A semi-tractor trailer died at the scene of an accident on Tuesday, July 11, 2017

The driver of a semi-tractor trailer died at the scene of an accident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Somerset County. His name has not been released.

According to Somerset County Coroner Wally Miller, the driver's death was pronounced at 8 a.m. at the scene. The accident occurred several hours before, he said.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death, he said.

The turnpike crew was still at the scene cleaning up at about 9:30 a.m.
