VICTORVILLE, CA : Hesperia motorcyclist, 24, airlifted after crashing into ditch on Monday, 26th September 2016

A 24-year-old Hesperia man was airlifted to a local trauma center after his motorcycle went into a ditch near Mojave and Amethyst roads Monday afternoon, authorities said.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the crash at approximately 3:13 p.m. and found the motorcycle went into a ditch for reasons unknown.

Victorville Sheriff’s Station spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez said the motorcyclist was then launched roughly 30 feet from the ditch.

Further information was not available, but Rodriguez said the motorcyclist was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and his condition was unknown.
