BELTON, SC : 1 dead after motorcycle crash in Anderson Co. on Friday, 15th November 2024

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV that left one person dead Friday night.

According to troopers, the incident happened on Highway 20 at the intersection on Crawford Road in Belton at 7:05 p.m.

A 2022 Indian motorcycle was traveling west on Highway 20 and hit a 2016 Chevy Tahoe SUV that turned left onto Highway 20 from Crawford Road, officials said.

The Anderson County coroner identified the motorcyclist as 24-year-old Michael Cruz Thrasher after troopers confirmed he died at the scene.
