St. Francois County, MO : Irondale, Mo., man killed in single-vehicle crash in St. Francois County on Tuesday morning, August 5, 2014

Ronnie J. Hampton, 61, of Irondale, Mo., was killed in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in St. Francois County, the Missouri Highway Patrol said. Hampton was driving west on Highway NN east of Indian Creek Road in the southwest part of the county at about 8:20 a.m. He lost control of the car, went off the road and struck a tree, the patrol said.
