PROSPECT, ME : Maine State Police say speed cause of crash that killed two in Prospect on Saturday, 3rd September 2016
Maine State Police say speed is the cause of a one-vehicle crash in Prospect that killed two men and critically injured a third.The crash took place at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday on the North Searsport Road in Prospect when a pickup truck hit a utility pole and rolled over several times before coming to rest upright. All three passengers were ejected from the vehicle.
Police say 59-year-old John Moriarty, of Bangor, and 35-year-old Brad Pomeroy, of Searsport, died at the scene of the crash.
Thirty-one-year-old Adam Littlefield, of Winterport, was taken to the Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor where he is listed in critical condition.
