MISHAWAKA, IN : Fatal crash on U.S. 20 bypass on Sunday, 17th November, 2019

A Howe man died following a single-car crash on U.S. 20 bypass Sunday morning.

According to St. Joseph Country Police Department, Michael Maskow, 45 of Howe, was thrown from a Toyota truck after crashing into a meridian wall eastbound on U.S. 20 bypass near the Elm Road exit. Maskow was later confirmed to be the driver of the truck and died at the scene.

A female passenger was alert and conscious at the time police and EMS arrived and was taken for medical treatment for head, neck and ankle injuries.
