POINCIANA, FL : 2-vehicle crash kills 3 in Polk on Tuesday, 12th March 2019

Three people are dead after a two-vehicle crash in unincorporated Polk Tuesday night.
According to a news release from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy on patrol in the northeast district of the county saw a red car speeding north on Marigold Avenue, near the Coyote Drive area, around 7:15 p.m. He pulled his vehicle onto Marigold Avenue and, upon rounding a curve, he saw that the red car had collided with a white sedan, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The deputy pulled out the driver of the red car and performed CPR on him, the PCSO said. However, the driver, who was identified as Emmanuel Lashawn Macedo Semedo, 19, died at the scene.
