CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA : Cumberland County road reopened following fatal crash on Tuesday, 9th January 2024

Cumberland County Coroner Charley Hall determined that Bruce Allen Beinhaur died of traumatic head injuries in the crash and ruled his manner of death accidental.According to Sergeant E. Jenkins with the Hampden Township Police Department, the crash happened along the 600 block of Good Hope Road at 1:30 p.m. According to the Cumberland County Coroner's Office, Bruce Alan Beinhaur, 58, of Dauphin, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigation determined that a tree either came down on Beinhaur's Chevrolet truck, or it came down as he was approaching it and he struck the tree. The coroner ruled his cause of death traumatic head injuries and the manner accidental.

Motorists were encouraged to avoid Good Hope Road between Creekview Road and Shasta Way due to the crash; however, the road has since been reopened.
