Police identified a pedestrian who was struck and killed in a crash in Frankford.

Patsy A. Baine, 56, of Frankford, was pronouced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened at around 9:55 p.m. Friday, according to Delaware State Police.

Baine was attempting to cross the southbound lanes of Route 113 near Berry Road on foot while a 2010 Lexus was traveling south in the right lane, according to police.

She walked directly in the path of the Lexus, operated by a 22-year-old Pennsylvania man, when she was struck and thrown onto the shoulder of Route 113.
