Four people are being treated for minor injuries after a Port Authority bus and another vehicle collided Thursday afternoon in Uptown.
The 69-route bus and the car crashed at the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Gist Street around 3:25 p.m., according to authority spokesman Adam Brandolph.
Mr. Brandolph said four passengers on the bus were being transported to hospitals. Two of them — a woman reporting back and leg injuries, and a man reporting neck and shoulder injuries — were transported by ambulance to UPMC Presbyterian.
Two others — both men reporting back and neck injuries — were taken to UPMC Mercy.
Mr. Brandolph said the initial report indicated that the car ran a stop sign.
He said a bicycle that was on the bus' bike rack hit and cracked the windshield of the bus.
