St. Cloud, FL : Two people killed after a crash on U.S. 192 in St. Cloud on Thursday morning, April 14, 2016

Two people were killed after a crash along U.S. 192 in St. Cloud on Thursday morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of a pickup, William Johnson, 31, of St. Cloud, was attempting to make a left turn onto the highway from Alligator Lake Shore Drive, when an eastbound tractor-trailer struck the pickup's left side.

Johnson and a passenger, Andrew Jones, 29, of Kissimmee, were killed. Another passenger was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
