A 74-year-old woman and her dog were killed while crossing Route 102 in West Greenwich Monday night, police said Tuesday. Police Chief Richard Ramsay said Betty Turnbull and her dog Rosy lived at the Classic Motor Lodge and were walking home when they were hit by a car around 6:30 p.m. Turnbull was not in a crosswalk, Ramsay said.
