Marquette Township, MI : Driver injured in a Single-car crash on US-41 in Marquette Township on Friday, January 30, 2015

Michigan State Police responded to a single-car crash on US-41.

An eye witness driving an Eagle Mine pick-up truck says that the car was traveling westbound on US-41 in Marquette Township when the driver lost control, spun into a 360 and then went over the embankment.

Fortunately the driver of the car was able to walk out under his own power. The man was taken away in a UP Health System-Bell ambulance, but was riding up front.

The official cause of the crash is under investigation.
