A Chadbourn woman died in a wreck in Columbus County early Saturday morning.
According to the State Highway Patrol, the wreck took place shortly after 1 a.m. on NC 904 near Shug Norris Road about five miles east of Tabor City.
Officials said that Frankie Lanier Bridgers, 43, died in the accident.
Bridgers appeared to veer of the side of the road and over-corrected. Her vehicle then hit a ditch and overturned.
