Edgemere, MD : One person seriously injured after car crashes into Sparrows Point High School in Edgemere on Tuesday, November 18, 2014

Baltimore County Police are investigating the crash of a sport-utility vehicle into a high school in Edgemere. The incident occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sparrows Point High School. Police say the 1998 Ford Explorer rear-ended a vehicle on North Point Road before leaving the roadway and hitting the front of the high school. Authorities found the Explorer on its side with the seriously injured driver trapped inside. He was extricated and taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.
