One person has died after being involved in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck near Rockford.

Police were notified of the crash shortly before 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24. Emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of 14 Mile Road and Northland Drive NE in Courtland Township.

Michigan State Police confirmed that one person in the passenger vehicle was killed in the crash. No other information about the deceased person was immediately released by police, and it's unclear if anyone else was injured in the crash.

Emergency personnel from Michigan State Police and the Courtland Township Fire Department arrived on scene to locate a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle off the road near the intersection.
