GARLAND COUNTY, AR : A crash in Central Arkansas injured a Lepanto woman on Tuesday, 19th June 2018

A crash in Central Arkansas injured a Lepanto woman Tuesday evening.

According to a preliminary crash report by Arkansas State Police, Kevin C. Burks, 28, of Bismarck, was driving north on Thornton Ferry Road near Hot Springs.

He failed to negotiate a curve, lost control, and went into a ditch.

Burks died in the crash but two of his passengers survived with injuries.
