Williams County, OH : Ohio motorcyclist dies in Williams County crash on County Road 12 at County Road Q, two miles west of the Village of Pioneer on Monday, 2nd September 2019

A 26-year-old motorcyclist died after a crash shortly before noon today in Williams County, Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

The Defiance, Ohio state police post said the accident occurred on County Road 12 at County Road Q, two miles west of the Village of Pioneer.

A 1992 Suzuki Dirt Bike was northbound on County Road 12 and a 2013 Ford F150 was westbound on County Road Q and stopped at the stop sign, then pulled into the path of the dirt bike and was struck by the dirt bike on the driver side, according to a news release.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Logan Keesecker, 26, of Pioneer, Ohio. Keesecker was taken to Montpelier Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. State police said Keesecker was wearing a helmet.

The driver of the pick-up truck was Marshall Davis, 62, of Brownstown, Michigan. Davis was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured.
