PITTSBURG, KS : One vehicle wreck hospitalizes local man on Tuesday, December, 5th 2017
A local man was airlifted to the hospital following a one vehicle wreck on West Fourth Street Tuesday night.
At approximately 11:57 p.m., deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Crawford County EMS and Baker Fire Department responded tot he 1900 Block of West Fourth Street for an injury accident.
According to CRSO, a 2002 Toyota Tacoma truck driven by Fredrick Jesse Falkin, of Pittsburg, was traveling westbound on W. Fourth Street when it entered the south ditch. It struck a mailbox and a utility pole.
Falkin was transported to Freeman Hospital in Joplin by helicopter. He was later taken to the University of Kansas Medical Center.
His condition remains critical.
